Every month Creekside is celebrating the amazing team we have by showcasing one of our team members. September’s team member spotlight is Tammie. She is one of our Project Engineers and has been a valuable member of the Creekside team for almost 5 years! Tammie brings a wealth of experience and is eager to take on new challenges. Her adaptability and dedication make her an asset both in the field and in the office. She’s passionate about team building and fostering growth, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the Creekside team! Let’s learn a little bit more about Tammie… Q: How many years in the industry? A: Approximately 28 years. I have worked for HVAC & Plumbing Subcontractors as well as General Contractors. Q: What do you love/enjoy about the field? A: I love this industry because it is never boring. I may be doing similar task, but each project adds a different spin to the requirements. It is also fun to meet new people and see old acquaintances from past projects, it is a small world when working in construction. Q: What is one of your favorite things to do on your weekends/ day off? A: I enjoy hanging out in our backyard during my time off. I have a good size garden and a pool to relax in, of course if we are not watching our daughter play softball. Q: If you had a superpower, what would it be? A:I like working with numbers and seem to be able to find discrepancies and patterns when there’s an issue. Q: What’s your guilty pleasure song? A: Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard. ?? Q: What is the worst fashion decision you ever made? Do you have pictures? A: I’m sure there were many, but I cannot think of one right now. I was a teenager through the 80s so I’m sure my bangs were high. Beyond move-in, we'll set our sights on Phase 2: "Homes for Good is in the process of procuring the 20 Manufactured/Modular homes and once purchased will be working closely with OHCS, Lane County, and assigned case managers to work with individuals and families that were displaced by the Holiday Farm Fire to connect them to this housing opportunity. The project will address inequitable access to high quality housing in low-income rural communities and community revitalization post disaster."
