DirectLight? technology POLATIS Series switches use POLATIS patented, highly reliable piezoelectric DirectLight? beam-steering technology that sets the industry standard for lowest optical loss and highest optical performance. Our first photonic chip we developed for the AMBER project, on which we are working together with Spectrik and Innoflex, excels in detecting ammonia levels at sub-PPM (parts per million) through precise excitation methods. ?? Continuing the collaboration, VTEC and Spectrik are in the process of creating a second photonic chip with even broader applications. Our latest project focuses on the detection aspect, generating high-frequency RF signals that are versatile enough to detect a variety of gases, not just ammonia. This advancement involves creating a beat signal between sensing and referencing beams, paving the way for multi-gas detection with different excitation lasers.
