Are DPIs (esp ONDC) ready for a gender focused program rollouts? In the hurry to build something, we never think of the last mile deployment. This article and the subsequent links in the article give very good insights into the "last mile" problems and the need to build for them in DPG space. In the #ONDC space, I have always been thinking of how this DPI can transform the way businesses are done, transactions are governed, data is shared and owned and so on. But this of course comes with the privilege of knowing smart phones exist, Digital ID exists, digital literacy exists and so on. I have of course started going into the rabbit hole of DPI implementations across globe and the hurdles that exist. The consistent thought is not to repeat mistakes of the physical world in the digital world. The idea is to build gender sensitive solutions and programs.
