I am truly looking forwards to this panel discussion next week at the #European_Space_Conference. In the topic of "Infrastructure, operations and launchers for agile, sustainable and competitive launch services" lie som very fundamental questions. How are we going to stimulate development of new, reusable and cutting edge launchers, and at the same time draw on the heritage and investments in European launchers over several decades? To succeed in establishing a competitive and autonomous European launch service environment, we must dare to challenge both the current industrial setup, governance and certain national priorities. 【SIFA publishes first White Paper】 SIFA (Space Industry Federation for Asia Pacific), a discussion group that was launched last year and consists of space industry leaders from the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) held its 3rd Roundtable on March 27th. This roundtable brought together members from Australia, New Zealand, India, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom to share the results of activities at the 29th Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-29) and also to discuss future activity plans for 2024. We also conducted a final review of SIFA's first white paper, "APAC Space Industry - Current Status & Common Challenges."
