With the dynamic range of modern #NMR spectrometers, and abundance of advanced post-processing techniques for solvent signal removal, including ML/AI approaches, is there really any need for sequence based water-suppression anymore in 1D spectroscopy? As in Presat, WET, Watergate, Excitation Sculpting and variations of these. I have implemented these and many others from scratch on benchtop systems, but these days post-processing can do a much cleaner job. Curious to hear thoughts on the continued need for sequence based water suppression, particularly at higher fields. Is radiation damping still a big issue? I have not been working with high field instruments for a few years now so not very up-to-date. #nmrspectroscopy

How do you determine if IPR is necessary? ? Assess crowding severity ? Evaluate tooth alignment possibilities without extraction ? Consider alternative space-gaining techniques IPR (Interproximal Reduction) is recommended when mild to moderate space is needed for alignment, helping to avoid more invasive procedures. According to the scientific literature, IPR is a safe and effective technique —when performed correctly. However, it’s essential to be comfortable with the process. If you're not, consider these alternatives to create space: 1?? Proclining 2?? Expanding 3?? Distalizing 4?? Molar rotation 5?? Extraction You can also combine these strategies to achieve the best results. ?? What’s your go-to method for creating space when using clear aligners? Share your approach in the comments below! Don’t forget to save this post for future reference or share it with someone who might find it useful! #TheCLEARInstitute #MakeTheMove #MasterOfClearAligners #ClearAligners #Aligners #DentalEducation #DigitalDentistry Stephane Reinhardt
