If you have met one person who is neurodivergent, you have met one person who is neurodivergent. Let's remove stigma. Be curious. Ask questions. Understand the reality of a community, rather than the myth. Think about the edge cases and prioritise them. It is better to understand than to remain ignorant, it just makes sense, in any organisation, from the human, the talent, as well as the commercial perspective. Here is a list of ways to find fractional work in sustainability companies. Not many options that I know of, what am I missing? ?? There are plenty of websites like Upwork that allow freelancers and contractors to find good opportunities, but most of them focus only on the type of work you do and not who you do it for. The mission you choose to support should also play an important part, whether you are a Designer, an Assistant, or a Fractional CFO. So how to filter on opportunities within companies working on social and environmental challenges? ?? Some ways I found are:? - Work on Climate Slack: With the goal?to make climate work mainstream in the talent ecosystem, this community is empowering people to use their talents for building climate solutions. Under their #gigs Slack channel, you can find Contract/temp/part-time paid climate work opportunities. - Escape the City: Unique roles at purpose-driven organizations, working in progressive ways. It is possible to filter both contractor and part-time options, and you can also search based on the causes you care about. However, the number of opportunities is limited and mostly based in the UK.? - inClimate.com: The biggest platform I know of in Europe that focuses on jobs within the climate space. It is possible to filter on contractor options, but results are mostly still full-time, just temporary, and often from other continents.? - LinkedIn: Of course you can always use LinkedIn for any job search and if you click on "all filters" and scroll down, it is possible to choose commitments like "Environmental sustainability" or "Social Impact". ?? Outreaches and intros work well too, but I'm sure there are easier ways. So how do fractional professionals find their next steps in companies that align with their values? Let me know your recommendations, and I'll add them to the list! ??
