Our partner Dr. Pavel Kulikov, PLL Legal & CBP, delivered a lecture on the transformative potential of Decentralized Finance (commonly referred to as #DeFi) at one of the most reputable Blockchain events of Switzerland organized by UZH Blockchain Center. DeFi, represents a new paradigm of the financial system which aims to provide open access to financial services; lending, borrowing, trading, and investing bypassing traditional intermediaries like banks and financial institutions. DeFi platforms typically operate on blockchain networks such as Ethereum where smart contracts execute financial transactions automatically without the need for intermediaries.
