This October, I had the great opportunity to participate in Fair Chance employment convenings around the country, hosted by leaders including Corporate Coalition of Chicago, Valley of the Sun United Way, Arouet, and National Reentry Workforce Collaborative (NRWC). It was a nice chance to reflect on the state of the field, and I shared a few broad takeaways on our Insights page this morning, centering on narrative, background screening reform, and technology: https://lnkd.in/erNawYsn Thanks Jason Whyte, MBA, Brian Fabes, Stephanie Dolan, Sara Wasserteil Alison Rapping, Laura Kaiser, Bertha T., Vannessa Moreno, Jeffrey Korzenik, Ken O., Kimberly Crowe for your organizing and leadership!
Thank you and Envoy for your partnership. There is a lot to do, and I’m energized by the commitment and passion of so many ready to link arms in this important work
Matt Joyce, Attending the leadership convening with Valley of the Sun United Way, alongside Opportunity for a Better Life, has been inspiring. Being part of this collective effort to advance Fair Chance employment is incredible, and I'm excited to drive meaningful change in this space. Looking forward to the impact we'll make together!
Great to finally meet you and excited I had a chance to overlap with you in AZ and in CO! Thanks for the important work you are doing around the country and for the shoutout in your piece! Hope our paths cross again soon!

3 周Matt, it has been a great privilege and I have really enjoyed working with you, and your highlighting some of my very favorite people in this post. Yesterday we hosted our very first CASE Workforce Advisory Board Meeting, and not a single seat was empty. We invited a number of CEOs, industry leaders, and business owners to come participate and not a empty seat was in the house. I am so inspired by the changes that I am seeing, and there’s still so much work to do. I am really looking forward to working with you, let’s let’s build a new dynamic workforce for Arizona and for the nation.
