Hey Revit users! Did you know that in the Environment for REVIT? ribbon you can find a very handy measurement tool when modeling in the 3D View? Pick any two points in your model and you will see the distances between them in all dimensions. In addition to the simple distance, the Free Measure tool gives you the height difference and the linear distance along the level (Length). Also, unlike Revit's native Measure Between Two References feature, this tool works in all Revit versions from 2020 onwards. The Edit Wall in Place tool does exactly what its name suggests. Here's what you need to know: ? Allows you to work with a single Wall or a chain of walls, ensuring a constant slope between them. ? Works with both straight and curved walls. For curved Walls, Environment will automatically create a void element to cut it out of the Wall. ? The result is still a native Revit Wall, which means your Schedule remain correct. Hello Revit users! Did you know that Environment for REVIT? has very nifty documentation features? Like Property Line Projection, which represents your Property Lines in Section View? Just select the desired Line Style, and the Property Lines will emerge. Here's what you need to know: ? It will show all Property Lines intersected by the Section View. ? The projection will be automatically updated every time you change the location of the Section View or change the Property Lines themselves. ? It will show the projection even if the Property Line is not perpendicular to the Section View. One of our customers once asked if there was a way to find out the sum of the lengths of all selected lines. We didn't know such a tool, so we created it. Here's what you need to know: ? Works with both Model and Detailed Lines. ? The lines doesn't have to be a one chain. ? It is possible to exclude overlapping parts of lines from the calculation.
