Celebrate longer than expected. Had a layover at the Chicago Midway airport and was surprised to see their Christmas decorations still up and in full display! For some reason this brought a big smile to my face. Maybe because I hadn't seen Christmas decorations in a while. But more likely because they immediately brought me back to the joy of the season. That brought up a question... What brings you joy? And a second important question... Why do we not do more of that? Why is it that even though we love seeing the Christmas decorations, we're so quick to take them down after the holiday? So whatever brings you joy, do more of that! Don't be so quick to stop. Go spend more time with family and friends. Give a call to that person who you can't stop laughing with. Plan that next vacation. Re-watch your favorite movie. Go on a date with your spouse. Spend time with kids or grandkids. Listen to more steel drum music. Keep up the holiday decorations a little longer. Whatever it is, do it! And enjoy it longer. Don't worry about what others think. Wouldn't you want a little more joy in your life? Then don't be the one blocking it. ?? What do you do that brings you joy? ?? #morejoy #ilovechristmas

?? Family Moments this Christmas ?? The magic of Christmas is all about family, traditions, and creating memories that last a lifetime. On Christmas Eve, I had the honour of playing Santa for my two young sons as we prepared for the big night. Reindeer food in hand, they were so excited to make sure Santa and his reindeer knew exactly where to land! Moments like these remind me what this season is truly about. It’s great seeing how much they enjoyed it and how excited they were. Taking a step back from the hustle and bustle of life, spending time with my family makes everything else fall into perspective. It’s these special, fleeting moments that motivate me to work hard and build a future where we can enjoy more of them. As we wind down from the festivities and come into a new year, I hope you’ve all had a chance to soak up some family time, share a few laughs, and make your own magical memories that you can cherish forever! From our family to yours, here’s to cherishing what matters most. How did you spend your Christmas Eve? Share your favourite traditions in the comments below, we’d love to hear them and maybe copy them if they are good ones ??. #FamilyFirst #ChristmasMagic #MakingMemories #WorkLifeBalance #EnterkineInvestments #FestiveSeason #FamilyTraditions #Motivation #CherishTheMoment

Why do we put so much pressure on ourselves to have the ‘perfect’ Christmas? It’s a little messed up… Christmas can bring so much joy, but it can also can create an awful lot of unnecessary stress - especially when it comes to our bank balance…. The pressure to spend money on presents, decorations, and throw flawless celebrations can feel overwhelming. But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be stressful? The truth is you don’t have to overspend to create beautiful settings & you can actually turn festive stress into joy with a few simple shifts. 1?? Focus on WHY you’re celebrating – What does this season mean to you? Is it your faith, family time, or time to be grateful? Reconnecting with this can really ‘ground’ you. 2?? Celebrate WHO you’re with – The people you love don’t need lavish gifts to feel your care. You know what I am going to say - Your presence is the real present. 3?? Let the WHY & WHO guide your WHAT & HOW – Most of the time, sustained joy is more about the memories we create, the meaningful moments & not material things. Remember, you can create a Christmas that feels completely aligned with who you are without the stress. Let go of the pressure to spend, and instead focus on the joy, connection, and love that truly matters. On a scale of 1-10 how stressed are you feeling about Christmas this week?

Some of you may already be getting ready for Christmas. When do you find the most joy during this season? Is it on the 25th, or in all the days leading up to Christmas? What I’ve noticed is that we usually find more joy in the activities we do in preparation or the connections we make associated with Christmas. These moments often bring more happiness than Christmas Day itself. Let me share something Christmas has taught me. 1. In life, we often chase after goals, thinking they will bring us joy and happiness. However, if we don’t focus on the journey, we might miss the many little moments that bring us true happiness and fulfillment. 2. Enjoy the small moments in the journey—just like decorating a Christmas tree, setting up a crib, cleaning or painting the house, or spending time with family. Being mindful of these little moments brings joy and happiness, not just the achievement of the goal. So, what are the things that have brought you joy and happiness this Christmas?

The Magic of Christmas Eve It’s here, Christmas Eve, my most favourite time of the year. There’s something about this night that feels different. The world seems softer, time feels slower, and everything feels a little more magical. It’s a night where love feels stronger, memories feel closer, and hope feels endless. No matter what you have, where you are, or who is with you, tonight is a chance to pause, to step away from the rush of life and just be. Be present. Be grateful. Be filled with the wonder that only Christmas can bring. Think about the moments that made you smile this year, the people who stood by you, and the memories you’ll carry forever. Those are the gifts that, matter most, the ones you can’t wrap but feel deeply in your heart. So let the lights twinkle, let the laughter flow, and let the warmth of this season surround you. Spread kindness wherever you go. Share love like it’s endless. And don’t be afraid to believe in a little Christmas magic, because it’s real, and tonight is the perfect night to feel it. Changes can wait. But loved ones and memories can’t. Merry Christmas Eve,may your night be full of love, light, and moments you’ll always remember. #ChristmasEveMagic #MerryChristmasEve #ChristmasWonder #ChristmasFeeling #SpreadTheLove #ChristmasJoy #MemoriesMatter #BePresent #LoveAndMagic #ChristmasSpirit #CherishTheMoment #FestiveVibes #SeasonOfGiving #HolidayHeart #MakeMemories #ChristmasCountdown #HeartfeltMoments #TisTheSeason #ChristmasWishes #ChristmasReflections #BelieveInMagic

Christmas has always been my favourite time of year. Growing up, my mum went all-out with decorations, presents, and festive traditions, creating a magical atmosphere that I cherish to this day. Reflecting on why I love this season so much, I love the predictability of yearly traditions - decorating the tree, baking gingerbread with the same recipe, and listening to familiar songs on repeat - which offer a grounding sense of routine and comfort amidst life’s chaos. However, behind the magic, the festive season can also be challenging, particularly for neurodivergent individuals. The sensory overload caused by bustling environments, bright lights, and loud gatherings can be overwhelming, while disrupted routines and the pressure to keep up with a flurry of social events and gift-giving can add to the stress. The need for downtime and personal space is often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. In my blog ‘Silent Nights and Fidgety Delights’, I reflect on these challenges and share strategies to make Christmas less about worry and more about wonder for everyone - neurodivergent or not. Whether it’s creating a quiet space during gatherings, managing transitions between routines, or embracing flexibility, there are ways to navigate the season with joy and ease. Merry Christmas to you all. Today, whether you’re surrounded by family, spending quiet time alone, or feeling somewhere in between, I hope you find peace and comfort. Christmas doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful – sometimes the most special moments are found in simplicity. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, lonely, or stressed today, I want to remind you that it’s okay to take a step back. Here are a few things that might help if today feels tough: ??Take a breather and step outside for a moment of fresh air or a short walk. It can clear your head and help you feel more grounded. ??It’s okay to say no to things that feel too much, even on Christmas Day. Protecting your energy is important. ?? Focus on the little things. A warm cup of tea, a favourite song, or a cosy corner can bring a sense of calm. ??If you are feeling alone, remember you are not. Even a quick text to a friend or loved one can make you feel connected, or just let someone know how you're feeling. ??Be kind to yourself. Whatever today looks like, remember you’re doing your best. Let go of any pressure for it to be perfect. I’m here if you need support or a kind word, and I hope you find moments of joy and peace today. Wishing you a warm and restful Christmas, and I look forward to supporting you in the new year.

A Christmas Eve Reflection: The Gift of Presence As the world pauses on this magical Christmas Eve, let’s take a moment to reflect—not on what’s under the tree, but on the gifts we carry within us. This season is a reminder of the power of connection, gratitude, and hope. It’s easy to get caught up in the rush, the shopping lists, and the year-end deadlines. But today, amidst the twinkling lights and the quiet anticipation of tomorrow, we’re invited to embrace something deeper: presence. The greatest gift we can offer—to ourselves and others—is our full attention. Be present with your loved ones. Listen with an open heart. Laugh freely. And if the season feels heavy, know that it’s okay to honor your feelings and seek support. "Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection,” Winston Churchill. Let’s reflect on how far we’ve come, the lessons we’ve learned, and the dreams we still hold close. Tomorrow, the celebrations will unfold. But today is a sacred pause—a chance to breathe, to cherish, and to remember what truly matters. So, light a candle, send that heartfelt message, or simply sit in gratitude for the moments that make life beautiful. Merry Christmas Eve to all who celebrate! May today fill your heart with peace, warmth, and the promise of new beginnings. #CNJAssociates #MerryChristmas #Reflection #Gratitude #Motivation #Presence
