Talking about my Inside life as a Field Operator; in Production and Processing of Natural gas for the production of Butane, Propane, LPG, and Condensate. In the oil and gas industry, Operations can be both physically demanding and rewarding. Because the more you work at something, the greater you'll feel when you achieve it. 1. Here, i Monitor and operate varieties of process equipment and machinery involved in the extraction and processing of oil and gas. -I Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operations. -I Collect and record data on production rates, pressures, and temperatures. 2. The work can be outdoors in harsh weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or storms. Operations could be in remote locations, such as oil rigs, or drilling sites, I am still looking forward to offshore opportunities. 3. Work rotation basis ranges from 30days on, 14days off, to cover 24/7, 4/4 operations. In offshore platforms you'll have (14days on, 14days off). - Long hours and over time may be required, including nights and weekends. So there's no such thing as "TGIF" is this field lol...?? 4. I make it a priority to Adherence to strict safety regulations because it is critical due to the hazardous nature of the work (e.g., exposure to flammable materials). -I often participate in Regular safety drills and training to prepare for emergency situations. 5. I work closely with my crew, maintenance team, technicians, and other personnel, emphasizing teamwork and clear communication. - Communicating with crew manager on potential issues for operational efficiency. 6. All technical knowledge of equipment and processes, i gained through vocational training and on-the-job experience. - Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are vital for addressing technical issues quickly. 7. For career progression, in the near future, i will be looking forward to Opportunities for advancement into supervisory or specialized roles with experience and additional training. 8. The job can be physically demanding and requires adaptability to changing conditions. But we'll continue to thrive no matter the odds. In the end, Work-life balance remains crucial. What motivated you to stay with the company for such a long period, and how has your role evolved over the years? Ans: Basically, I can understand & handle my job , I cooperate with my colleagues & learning new things every in my work to upgrade my skill. It have evolved much , I try my best to follow the instructions of my boss, and he always understands my weaknesses. The frankness & trust between superiors & subordinate are very important. 2. What are some of the most significant changes you’ve witnessed in the industry and within the company during your tenure? Ans: The company has improved significantly. It values the needs of employees & is willing to listen to their suggestions. Personally, the company has given me many favourable. 3. What advice would you give to new employees just starting their journey with the company or in this field? Ans: If it’s an inexperienced person, you should obey, always take note, be willing to learn and do not give up asking questions. 4. Can you share a memorable challenge you faced and how you overcame it? Ans: I don’t face an unforgettable challenge or experience. How to overcome for me it’s to face it frankly & accept it. 5. What has been the most rewarding aspect of your career, and how have you maintained your passion for the job over the years? Ans: I have worked here for so many years, and what I have gained is that I have meet many people of different nationalities working together, which has broadened my horizons, made me live in harmony, sharing & tolerance. Over the years, I have been passionate about my work, keeping positive attitude, occasionally humorous and more importantly safety first.
