Meet Eleanor Rigby... Not the Beatles song, but the apartment building. Right in the heart of Salt Lake City... And she's almost 100 years old... Turns out, the 1920s were a great decade for architecture, because it's an absolutely beautiful building. This building has had many names in the last century... And has gone back and forth between a hotel and apartments over the years... Even so, I fell in love with Ms. Rigby the first time I saw her... (Even though she's more than twice my age) We paid $10.1 million to purchase this amazing building... And plan to hold it for many, many years to come... Best part about it? It's like an ATM that just keeps pushing out cash (we'll be making our 5th straight quarterly distribution later this week). And because it's only a few blocks from the city center, it will always be in demand (location, location, location, right?)... Eventually, we'll sell it... The way SLC is growing, it'll probably be worth 3x the purchase price when we do... And everyone involved will be pretty dang happy with the results...
