Happy 4 years to The Farmlink Project and to all who have contributed to our work along the way. It takes a single choice to pay attention, and a consistent choice to focus on solutions instead of problems. It takes a rallying call for and from young people to build a (remote) village of hundreds, to drive a movement of thousands to respond to the single greatest human rights call to action of our time. It takes a single seed of faith in oneself to commit to something uncertain, and the exponential social permission of others to cultivate and sustain a movement of problem solvers. According to The Lancet, we know that unchecked climate change can lead to millions of deaths a year due to food shortages. The writing is on the wall, and at The Farmlink Project, we are committed to continuing to take guided and agile action to do what we can to help end hunger and dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our lifetime.
