“Source” is the latest tool out of Optimal Dynamics, and it is just magical. For decades I focused on the problem of finding the best driver to assign to a load given the uncertain future. We then started to appreciate that the most important decision is deciding what loads to move. You have a wider range of choices when you commit to loads in the future, before you know where your drivers are, and often before your top shippers have called in their loads. Source reaches out and sucks in loads from a variety of sources, from load boards to emails, along with brokerage loads. These are then combined with 20 different samples of loads that might be called in by your preferred accounts (who leverage their status to call in their loads with little advance notice). Source then feeds these loads to our powerful load acceptance system to identify the loads that are most likely to be covered by the dispatch system. That means we have a driver who can move the load, who wants to move the liad, and where the load offers the most profitable choice for the carrier. This is how we help carriers generate the most revenue from their fleet. Pretty amazing!

Our team sat down with Air Cargo Next to discuss how the airfreight industry is embracing AI, with 96% of logistics companies planning to integrate AI into their operations (as reported by Freightos). Antonia Ambrozy, Director of eBookings Growth at WebCargo by Freightos, shares how WebCargo facilitated a record 39% YoY increase in eBookings, thanks to our in-house generative AI solution.
