To me, engagement is the most important thing. And I don't mean it just talking to people, but having the hard conversations. We have the kind of unenviable task where a lot of people think that, ohh, you just have to like people. You have to be nice. Like actually, no, that's the easy part. The difficult part is encouraging people and managers and teaching them how to have difficult conversations with your people. And typically that's the part that people refrain from. And ironically, that's where it goes S because actually we're here to uplift your performance. And also uplift the company's performance. And HR's responsibility then is to help our managers help everyone uplift that performance.
