??We stared at this picture for the past 3years… We envisioned a fully circular ??furniture solution as the key to advancing our mission—putting an end to wasteful furniture for good. This issue often flies under the radar, despite our nation is estimated producing up to 48,000 tonnes of furniture waste annually…?? ?????While green building initiatives focus on reducing construction waste, conversations around interior furniture and cabinetry fitouts remain sparse. Yet, these items often the first things to go with every space change, perpetuating a linear product lifecycle driven by limited materials and single functionality. By prioritizing circular product solutions in interior design, we can significantly reduce future waste. Here's what to consider when choosing furniture for your space: ??1. **Materials:** Is it durable and repairable? What happens at the end of its life? Is there support available from the supplier, manufacturer, or distributor? ??2. **Construction Method:** Can it be easily disassembled? Is it built to last? Can individual components be replaced to extend its lifecycle? ??3. **Aesthetics:** Is it timeless, designed to withstand trends? Can it be updated?
