Last week we gathered for Thoughtful Thursday Shoutout to those who came out ????Good conversation and good vibes ? As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday I wanted to share the highlights so that we can all enter the season with intention Here are the insights that stood out from our time last week: ????Gratitude is powerful- this grounding practice helps us hold love in our hearts and remember the things that are most important in this life ???Our voices sacred- our voices can be used to release things we’ve been holding onto in many ways: shout it out (literally scream!), communicate your boundaries, ask for support, use your voice to help serve your needs ????♀?Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries- setting boundaries for ourselves and others during this busy time can help release undue pressure we tend to put on ourselves. Whether its personal, financial, time related, relational, whatever, set clear boundaries and stick to them ??Self- awareness is key- in order to effectively meet our own needs and practice self-care and compassion, we must first take time to connect with ourselves below a surface level. Make space for time with just you. ?? Politics matter- this is an election year and many of us are still processing the transition we’re facing. Know how this impacts the dynamics in the spaces you navigate and prepare accordingly Be sure to make some space to prepare yourself for a healthy happy holiday season. If you need help with that, hit me up! Happy to support you an any way I can ??

It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is only 13 days away! The holiday season is approaching fast, and while it can be filled with wonderful memories, it can also be stressful. Here are 5 ways to help reduce that stress: ?? Start Early and Share the Load Get the whole family involved in planning and prepping early. Assign tasks like gift shopping, decorating, or meal prep so no one feels overwhelmed at the last minute. ?? Set Simple, Meaningful Traditions Focus on the traditions that matter most to your family and skip the extra pressures— make memories without over-scheduling. ?? Be Realistic About Expectations Let go of “perfect” and embrace what’s realistic for your family. It’s okay if things aren’t flawless—what matters is being together and enjoying each other’s company. ?? Create a Holiday Budget as a Family Sit down as a family and agree on a budget for gifts, food, and activities. It helps avoid financial stress and keeps expectations in check, especially for kids. ?? Make Time for Family Self-Care Prioritize family downtime—whether it’s taking walks together, playing games, or simply unwinding. Allow everyone moments to recharge so you can all stay present and enjoy the season. #estateplanning #thanksgiving #holidaytraditions #wills #familyplanning

?? Thanksgiving is still a pretty new concept for me, but I love the idea behind it—taking a moment to pause and feel grateful for the good things in life. It’s so easy to get caught up in work, stress, or just the day-to-day rush that we forget to notice the little things that make us happy. Recently, I started this simple habit: every night, I write down 5 good things from my day (I use a messaging app on my phone). They don’t have to be big—just moments that made me smile or feel good. Like a great working session where everything clicked, a 1:1 meeting that boosted my focus, a nice walk in the morning, a tasty lunch, or even finishing a good book. It’s been helping me teach my brain to enjoy the little things in life, even on the busiest, most stressful days. And honestly, it’s such a good way to end the day—it reminds me that there’s always something to be grateful for, no matter what. So, as Thanksgiving gets closer, I want to share this habit with you. Try it out—write down 5 good things from your day, even if they seem small. It’s amazing how much those small moments can add up when you take the time to notice them. Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving season! ??

Thanksgiving used to be my least favorite holiday. Multiple dinners at multiple houses, scorecards, a day of obligations. This year marks 13 years of Thanksgiving being my favorite holiday. A day of friends and family, a day of really good food, and a day of gratitude for all that I have. The holiday hasn’t changed—it’s the exact same day. The difference? I’m sitting at the right table. I’ve been at companies with all the signs of success—a strong business model, growth potential, and everything saying I should be happy—but the people around the table weren’t my people. I’ve also been at companies facing uncertainty, struggling to find their path, with no guarantees about the future—but I look across the table and see colleagues that make me better, that help me grow. The most important thing, in life and in work: make sure you’re sitting at a table that brings you joy, purpose, and leads you to personal growth. Even when you forget to take the Sweet Potato Casserole out of the oven.
