TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: KELSEY ANN TUCKER Research is not just about data and discoveries—it is about the people behind the science. This month, we are excited to spotlight Kelsey Tucker, CCRC, our Clinical Research Coordinator III. Kelsey brings dedication and heart to her work at the Emory Goizueta Brain Health Institute. As a Clinical Research Coordinator III for the Emory Healthy Brain Study (EHBS) and Co-Chair of our Team Building Committee, Kelsey is known for her collaborative spirit and commitment to improving brain health. ? “Though Kelsey has only been with EHBS for almost a year and a half, she just hit an exciting milestone of five years at Emory! She has been a fantastic addition to our team, bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to team building and department engagement, explains Kelsey’s supervisor Project Manager Najé Simama. “Last year, she led our annual participant engagement event for our research participants, which was a great success and has already begun planning for 2025." ? “She also started Cog Neuro Pets, a fun tradition where she shares photos and stories of our department’s beloved pets. We’re grateful for all Kelsey does to make our team and department special!” ? Beyond coordinating complex research studies, she’s passionate about fostering connection among colleagues and ensuring every participant’s experience is meaningful. When she’s not in the lab, Kelsey enjoys building community and mentoring the next generation of researchers. Thank you, Kelsey, for all you do! ????
