China's G1 humanoid robot has set a new record for the standing long jump, achieving an impressive 4.6-foot jump. This feat highlights the advanced capabilities of the robot, which features joints offering 23 to 43 degrees of freedom and generates up to 120 Nm of torque. In a video shared on YouTube, the G1 robot, standing at 1.32 meters tall, showcased its ability to perform a standing long jump of up to 1.4 meters, potentially making it the longest jump ever for a humanoid of its size. Additionally, the video highlighted new features of Unitree’s popular Go2 robot dog.
