Most of us know how to respect boundaries at work. So why do workplace harassers often get multiple chances to harm others???♀?This is why speaking up matters. It’s not just about stopping one incident, it’s about building workplaces that are safer and more respectful for everyone. #WorkplaceHarassment #SpeakUp #SafeWorkplaces #WomensRightsMatter #MeToo #sexualharassmentawareness #WomenIntheWorkplace Jenna Rangel

Was it hard for you to keep your hands to yourself at work today? It is not hard for the majority of people. Those who find it difficult to refrain from touching others at work are usually repeat offenders. This is proof that it is not in fact about how the victim looks, what they wear, or how much they drink. It is about the offenders' behavior and research (and our work!) shows it will be repeated with multiple employees. So why do companies keep the offenders? Sexual harassment in the workplace is rampant and it requires all bystanders to do their part to prevent it and mitigate it by standing behind their own zero tolerance policies. That is how you will change the culture of it being something we have to accept just to do our job. #WorkplaceSexualHarassment #GenderDiscriminationAttorney #TraumaInformedLaw #SurvivorAdvocate

We have all encountered these people from time to time at work or social events. They are the ones who are “handsy.” You feel it right away with the hand -over – hand-handshake,??a hand or an arm over your shoulder, or down your back often guiding you into an unwanted hug.?From there it escalates to a presumptive touch to the breast or to your bottom. With these people, you need to speak-up to protect your personal space.?For more insights, take a look at the Drawing a Line?wordpress blog; ??search for: ?“Protecting our personal space. Creating a workplace where everyone feels respected and valued isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential for long-term success. ?? One powerful way to achieve this is by fostering a culture of Upstander Behavior. An upstander speaks up and takes action when they witness inappropriate behavior, which helps create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. The long-term benefits are undeniable: ? Increased employee morale ? Fewer incidents of harassment and misconduct ? A stronger, more connected workplace culture When employees feel empowered to stand up for what’s right, it sends a clear message that respect and inclusivity matter. And the ripple effects? A thriving organization where everyone can contribute their best. Remember: Creating a culture of upstanders leads to a thriving, supportive workplace. Let’s commit to building workplaces where upstanding behavior isn’t the exception—it’s the norm. How is your organization fostering upstander behavior?

?? Creating a Safe, Inclusive Workplace Starts with Us ?? I just attended a powerful training session on Microinterventions: How to Prevent and Manage Microaggressions in the Workplace, and it left me deeply inspired. We all deserve to feel psychologically safe at work—a space where we’re valued for who we are and can show up as our authentic selves. Psychological safety isn’t just about kindness; it’s about fostering employee satisfaction, unleashing productivity, and building the kind of inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Inclusion isn’t just a “nice-to-have” anymore; it’s essential for thriving in today’s world. When we embrace empathy and understanding, we create ripple effects that extend far beyond the workplace—towards a more loving, accepting, and connected world. Let’s be champions for psychological safety and inclusion every day. Because together, we can create workplaces that truly uplift everyone. ?? #InclusionMatters #PsychologicalSafety #DiversityAndInclusion #ThriveTogether
