But why is the Costco dog so special? Guys, it's not just the price. The glizzy itself is a quality product, made with 100% beef and no by-products, corn syrup, or fillers. It's also a symbol of Costco’s dedication to providing value to its members. The company’s co-founder famously resisted any price increases, reportedly saying he’d rather “kill” the person suggesting it than raise the price. Frozen pizzas have lately moved off grocery store shelves at a solid clip. Shoppers spent $7.4 billion on frozen pizza alone during the year that ended in July — up just under 1% year over year and more than on frozen breakfast foods, snacks or baked goods — according to data collected by Circana and published by 210 Analytics. Frozen pizza commanded $549 million in sales during July, up just under 1% from the previous year, and the number of units sold grew by nearly 2%, the data shows. you know how in all grocery stores the till is the place where you can grab a quick snack such as a cooldrink and chocolate after doing your grocery shopping? we all also know that those products are strategically placed there by the grocer to drive up sales of those goodies through "impulse buys" well, that strategy can be applied all across the store. i took the attached video while i was at Shoprite today. isnt it weird that sauces which have their own dedicated isle are now here at the frozen foods section? well what theyre trying to do is make it easier for us to just go ahead and grab their favourite sauce to go with the meats/fries they plan to buy and eventually cook being the nice people they are at Shoprite they probably managed do some data analysis of their receipts so they can see which sauces are most popularly bought with the items in these freezers and placed those exact ones above the related items . the cherry on top to ensure as many people as possible spend their money on those items was the "LOW PRICE !!" papers to improve on this practice what they can do next is bundle together the items in these freezers with the sauces above them as well as some cooking oil and spices. that way you dont need to pace up and down the store. you can just spend your money right there and then #marketing #Shoprite

But even with the increases, your home-grilled burger could end up being relatively inexpensive this year thanks to steep discounts offered by retailers vying for budget-conscious customers. In recent months, grocery prices have stayed flat and even started to fall. But some grilling staples are more expensive compared to last year. (according to consumer watchdog Which?) In May, a basket of 69 items at Aldi cost ￡121.56 - significantly cheaper than Waitrose at ￡158.13. Lidl was the second cheapest, followed by Asda and Tesco. Aldi has also reduced prices on over 45 fruit and vegetable products, including berries, oranges, tomatoes, salad, avocados, and peppers, with an average price reduction of 11%. PREPARING FOR SUPERBOWL SHOPPERS: Chips are the most consumed snack food during the Super Bowl and are requested by 75% of consumers while dips, pizza, chicken wings and nachos are also fan favorites, according to research from Numerator. Soda and beer are the most popular beverages for the game, and Numerator also found NFL fans make an average of five additional trips to the grocery store per year for beer and snacks compared with other consumers.
