I'm thrilled to share that I've successfully developed a mathematical model for simulation training, focusing on stratifying medical errors. ?? Excited to announce that my groundbreaking idea and development in Medical Simulation have been published today! ?? "A MATHEMATICAL MODEL BASED ON STRATIFYING THE SEVERITY OF MEDICAL ERRORS FOR BUILDING SCENARIOS FOR CLINICAL CASES WITH BRANCHING". It all started back in the fall of 2021 when I conceptualized a mathematical model for constructing simulation training based on the severity stratification of medical errors. Since then, the journey has been filled with challenges – from initial tests and pilots with practicing doctors to overcoming obstacles like the war in Ukraine, and relocation. But throughout it all, I've remained committed to my vision, and continuously refining the model in collaboration with talented medical professionals. In the fall of 2023, I finally consolidated my experiences and embarked on the publication process. ClinCaseQuest is a simulation training based on the stratification of medical errors. This is the scientific basis for the development of cognitive branching in the Simulation Training Platform for medical education ClinCaseQuest. It's about feeling a medical error "To feel medical error", it's about learning from a medical error "Take a lesson from the medical error", but in a safe environment for the patient. BMI is a vibrant research and development field that has made great progress, tracking the corresponding evolution of computer science, hardware technology, communications, and biomedicine.?Emerging from medical schools and computer science departments in its early years, BMI, including AIM, are now more visible and influential than ever before. This talk will briefly summarize some of that history, providing an update on the status of the field as we enter our second half-century. The inherent complexity of biomedicine and of clinical care necessitates that the field address issues of usability, workflow, transparency, safety, and the pursuit of persuasive results from formal clinical trials.?These requirements contribute to an ongoing research agenda that continues to require rigorous informatics education.
