Germany is making a significant pace in green energy by shifting its focus from battery projects to #green #hydrogen. The government has allocated substantial funding to 23 green hydrogen projects, with a total investment of ??.?? ?????????????? ??????????, supported by both federal and state governments. This initiative aims to achieve the goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by at least 65% by 2030. Key highlights include: ? RWE's ?????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???? ????????????????????: ? ???????????? ??????????????: RWE will build a ??????-???? ???????????????????????? in Lower Saxony, starting with 100 MW/year capacity. The first electrolyzer is expected to be operational by 2025, with the total 300 MW capacity commissioned by 2027. ? ????????????-?????? ?????????????? ????????????????: Located in North Rhine-Westphalia, this facility will store green hydrogen to balance the fluctuations in the power input from renewable sources like solar and wind energy to produce green hydrogen. The first hydrogen storage is planned for 2026. These projects are valued at ?????? ?????????????? ??????????. ? ?????????????????????? ?????????????? ??????????????: RWE, along with partners like ROSTOCK PORT, RheinEnergie AG, and #EnBW, will construct a 100 MW electrolyzer on Germany's north coast, supported by ?????? ?????????????? ?????????? in funding. Hydrogen production, storage, and transportation are crucial for achieving climate neutrality.
