Star (low speed efficiency) or delta connection (better power and high-speed efficiency), seamless, switchable during operation. ? Ok, that's not new. It's been around for some time in the industrial sector, but switchable during operation in the EV is interesting. ? It requires a second set of switches in the inverter, but when used simultaneously with the 800V OBDC, the separate DC/DC can be saved. ? It is always exciting to see what is still happening technologically with electric motors (and batteries). We are definitely at the beginning. ?
