??Here is a sneak peak into our studio space at #unfoldingaliveness ??What happens in this #place? ????This #studio is where Matthew Bejtlich spends a lot of his time in his work as a systemic designer, data scientist, educator, and artist. ??Where is this place? ??This studio is situated in a #thriving ecosystem where multispecies kin roam freely and cohabit the land, regularly making themselves known in very audible ways. Wild turkey, groundhogs, horses, birds, rabbits, deer explore with crowds of pine trees, fern, other diverse plants and a nearby stream. And, with Matt, of course! ??Matt feels heavily inspired by experiences with multispecies kin and is grateful for how this land produces ongoing offerings of such vitality and aliveness. We started this movement 15 years ago - to help people learn how to slow down in this multi-tasking world...and to do it in museums and galleries where they can be with art and with each other. Making space is hard. It’s important to create space: - head space - physical rest space - space for reflection & goal setting - space for healing - space for growing - space for joy! Just a few examples, to get you thinking. But actually it’s hard to do this. Space can be feel overwhelming and vulnerable. We aren’t sure what happens when we change things, letting go of habits even unhelpful ones is scary. Start small, but start today.
