Kudos to Grant Otto who besides having great technical acumen with all of our various robots and geophysical sensors has also been developing into a budding science communicator with his YouTube/Insta channel (Seriously check him out). Farmed cod on path to 70,000t but no replacement to wild catch shortfall Although interest in farmed cod is blossoming as Barents Sea wild-catch quotas will hit their lowest point of the 21st century, it is still early days in a sector chasing profitability, stressed Norcod CEO Christian Riber in a recent interview with?Undercurrent News?at last month's Groundfish Forum. "We don't want to be a substitute; we're a product on our own," he said.
