Today on #IndependenceDay, we celebrate the freedoms that we as Americans have come to know and love. At DAV, we are grateful for the generations of men and women who have served our country to protect these freedoms, often times returning from their service ill or injured. It is our patriotic duty as Americans to ensure that our nation keeps its promise to care for these brave individuals after they have served their country. Listening to these comments in the video you can see a common thread that “serving others” has AT LEAST a 2-fold benefit……..it obviously benefits the one being served, AND it also benefits the one serving!! Lesson to be learned: it’s always a WIN-WIN to serve.
