On our flagship Schools Partnership Programme (SPP), clusters of schools conduct peer reviews and support one another’s improvement – leading to improved system leadership and greater accountability in England’s schools. In a new report, Associate Professors at University College London (UCL), David Godfrey and Dr Bernardita Munoz-Chereau, present a summary of a three-year project conducted by the UCL Centre for Educational Leadership evaluating the SPP. Funded by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), the report outlines the main components of the SPP, the research project’s key findings, and evidence-backed recommendations for policymakers and school leaders on using peer-led initiatives for school improvement.
