This week, Athlete EDGE at EDCare attended the first annual Coalition of Athletic Communities for Mental Health Conference at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus! This event was a fantastic opportunity to bring together individuals and organizations who are passionate about the intersection of athletics and mental health. We've enjoyed learning from experts and connecting with others who are committed to identifying shared best practices and developing partnerships to create real solutions. From discussions around injuries, self-worth, and performance pressure to tackling the complexities of mental toughness and traumatic brain injuries, it’s been a powerful experience to explore how we can all work together to better support athletes’ mental health.
