CoopIS 2024: The 30th International Conference on Cooperative Information Systems, November 19 - 21, 2024, Porto, Portugal Cooperative Information Systems (CIS) facilitate the cooperation between individuals, organisations, smart devices, and systems of systems, by providing flexible, scalable and intelligent services to enterprises, public institutions and user communities. As a result, people and smart devices can interact, share information and work together across physical barriers. The domain of CIS integrates research results from different related computing areas, such as: distributed systems, coordination technologies, collaborative decision making, enterprise architecture, business process management and conceptual modelling. In recent years, several innovative technologies have emerged: Cloud Computing, Service Oriented Computing, the Internet of Things, Linked Open Data, Semantic Systems, Collective Awareness Platforms, Block Chain, Processes as a Service, etc, that enable the next generation of CISs. https://lnkd.in/ep4-y4qc

The CEI-Sphere Coordination and Support Action (CSA), funded under the Horizon Europe programme, officially launched on 10 October 2024! ?? CEI-Sphere aims to create an #open, #interoperable and #competitive Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) landscape across Europe. As a CSA, CEI-Sphere will play a pivotal role in preparing a pathway for Large-Scale Pilots (LSPs), which is scheduled to begin in 2025. ?? CEI-Sphere will leverage its role within the EUCloudEdgeIoT cluster, as well as coordinated activities with other European Union initiatives, including the European Data Strategy, NGI - The Next Generation Internet and IPCEI Cloud, to ensure interoperability and scalability across sectors. Similar to the role played within the EUCloudEdgeIoT community, Trust-IT Services will be a co-leader of the communication and dissemination activities of CEI-Sphere to help carry out its core objectives: ? Develop a CEI reference architecture ? Produce a use-case catalogue ? Create an innovation ecosystem visualisation tool ? Establish a certification framework ? Support standardisation efforts ??
