?? Exciting News! ?? I'm thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my research internship at CSIR - National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the Department of Magnetic Metrology. Under the guidance of S.K. Dubey, Principal Scientist, and Anurag Katiyaar, Technical Officer, I had the incredible opportunity to work on a project focused on real-time magnetic field measurement. ?? Project Highlights: Designed and developed a magnetic field measurement system using Arduino Nano, Hall Effect sensor, and a 7-pin SPI OLED display. Achieved accurate magnetic field measurements with less than 2% error up to 400 gauss, 3% error at 450 gauss, and 7% error at 500 gauss. Implemented real-time data visualization on the OLED display, providing clear and concise measurement readings. Conducted thorough calibration and error analysis to ensure the reliability of the measurement system. I am grateful for the mentorship and support from S.K. Dubey and Anurag Katiyaar, which made this project a great learning experience. This experience has significantly enhanced my skills in Arduino programming, sensor interfacing, and real-time data visualization. It also deepened my understanding of magnetic metrology and embedded systems design. Looking forward to applying these skills in future projects and continuing my journey in the field of automation and robotics. ?? Do you remember the video posted from last August about testing the motion planning algorithm in preparation for my bachelor thesis? Here, you can see and read about the final product of my experimental research paper. First, I developed a fully automated workspace with a 6-DoF cobot from Niryo, and a fine-tuned motion planning algorithm for powder dosing. Next, I tested around 24 different variations of independent parameters (vibration's frequencies, angle of dosing, rotational speed, and mass of power) with a few thousands of trials and experiments to investigate its influence on the mass flow as the dependent variable. Lastly, I developed a controller that can accurately and time-efficiently dose 1-gram of powdered sugar. I was honoured and happy that the project received the Hochschulpreis Award for 2023 from Wirtschaftsf?rderung Kreis Kleve GmbH. This project was my final thesis for the program Mechatronic Systems Engineering, B.Sc. at Rhine-Waal University in collaboration with FLUXANA GmbH & Co. KG. Above everything, Alhamdullah, All praise be to Allah. Then, I have to give a lot of credit to Dr. Rainer Schramm for his continuous mentorship and guidance. Most importantly, I can't forget Eng. Carine Allen and her assistance all the time! For my university supervisor, Prof. Ronny Hartanto, thank you for your help in Robotics! After making a misguided decision to play the recorder, Hannes found that he still enjoyed making music as a child and later even formed a band with his schoolmates. Even though “KeinPlan!” didn't last beyond his school days, Hannes remained true to his musical passion.
