This word limit encompasses everything in your submission, including the main text, references, and appendices. You should allocate 280 words from this total limit for each figure or table you include. For example, if your article has 3 figures and 2 tables, you must subtract 1,400 words (5 × 280) from the 8,000-word limit, leaving you with 6,600 words for the rest of your content.
