Common mistake I am seeing on plans: making accessible cavity doors too narrow. The leafs really need to be 910mm wide, in order to provide 760mm minimum "clear opening". Why? Two reasons. Accessible locks prevent the door from sliding all the way into the cavity. They have large levers, and those levers will always make the door stick out about 100mm. (CL100 Lavilock is the most commonly used one - that's where I am getting 100mm from.) Secondly, on the other side of the door is a little strip of timber, a door jamb, usually about 15mm wide, which makes the door opening just a bit narrower yet. So even if you specify 910mm door, the clear opening is really only 910-100-15=795mm wide. Please allow for AT LEAST 910mm doors on accessible cavity sliders.
