The best way to end off Earth Month — with an art-filled Earth Sessions in partnership with Pinterest. One of my favorite earth sessions programs is giving out hundreds of free books to attendees. This time titles included some of my favorites like Pleasure Activism, All We Can Save, Parable of the Sower, and so many more! There was also incredible music from Xiuhtezcatl Roske Martinez and Rexx Life Raj, screenprinting, a local artisan market, and so many more incredible art x enviro activations. We heard great panels from Isaias Hernandez, Leah Thomas, and Jessica Buendia from Dream and I led a conversation with Xiuhtezcatl Roske Martinez about the release of his new music! Our partnership with Pinterest helped bring so many of our ideas to life and it was so fulfilling to bring so many communities, including art, tech, and science together to center joy, hope, and optimism in the environmental space.
