Thank you for your help Nick! What a few days, full on doesn’t quite cover it. Meeting clients new and old and forming new alliances with many organisations to help reverse climate change and biodiversity collapse. The work started a few years ago, building a system to help drive farmers beyond net zero and to benefit from more climate and financially resilient businesses and unlock new income streams. We are now matching land managers to companies large and small that have the same goals as us, nothing beats emissions reduction but good quality carbon removal projects come a close second. #climatesolutions #netzero #beyondzero Great teamwork: Luke Baldwin David Gollins Frank Gollins Samuel Durham BSc (Hons) MCIEEM Pete Wain Ian Bailey Nick Day @ukcarboncodeofconduct @beyondzero

For 40 years, The Nature Conservancy has championed conservation across Latin America, working closely with communities to merge scientific and traditional knowledge for sustainable solutions. Our mission—protecting the lands and waters on which all life depends—is at the core of everything we do. Today, we’re evolving beyond traditional conservation methods. We understand that nature is intertwined with our lives and cannot simply be fenced off. By addressing human pressures and fostering sustainable development, we're finding innovative ways to protect our natural capital. A key part of this effort TNC's work in the Gran Chaco where, in a truly collective efforts involving all stakeholders, we are helping build a food system rooted in regenerative agriculture that benefits communities, economies, and the planet by collaborating with local farmers and ranchers, creating platforms for collective action, generating influence to minimize land use change and expanding land and water areas under protection. Tune in to hear Mauricio Nu?ez Regueiro discuss how the Gran Chaco serves as an example of how large-scale food production can thrive alongside small farms while preserving biodiversity and supporting a local food economy that invests in nature-based solutions #Conservation #Sustainability #RegenerativeAgriculture #NatureBasedSolutions

Proud of our colleague Giorgio Piracci who just joined the Food Tech Congress in Warsaw! He passionately spoke about the opportunities of Regenerative Agriculture in producing healthy, nutritious food and provided valuable insights on how to successfully scale up regenerative agriculture projects from model farms to large landscapes. Giorgio also shared some key takeaways from the event: 1. AI and Technology: Giorgio highlighted how AI and advanced technology are set to completely reshape agriculture and food production. When combined with regenerative agriculture, these innovations will support and facilitate the reduction or total eradication of pesticides and unsustainable practices. 2. Biodiversity: He emphasized that biodiversity restoration, protection, and regeneration will become the new hot topic in sustainability. This focus is poised to be even more crucial than carbon farming in creating resilient ecosystems. 3. Ethics and People: Ethics and care for people will be the true change-makers. These values will distinguish genuine innovators from those making false claims, highlighting that companies are capable of reshaping the future. Thank you Giorgio, for representing our team and sharing these forward-thinking insights. Let's continue to support such innovative approaches in agriculture and sustainability! #RegenerativeAgriculture #Innovation #Biodiversity #EthicalFarming #PetersonProjectsAndSolutions https://lnkd.in/gthWn_29
Happy and blessed to have represented our Peterson Projects and Solutions (Europe) at Food Tech Congress in Warsaw. During my panel I had the opportunity to talk about the huge opportunities that Regenerative Agriculture can bring for the production of healthy, nutritious food and to provide some insights about how to successfully scale-up regenerative agriculture projects from model farm to large landscapes.

Agriculture Capital dove into the transformative potential of regenerative agriculture in their first AC webinar "Unlocking Carbon Potential: Sequestering Carbon in Permanent Crops and Agriculture." The conversation between Rob Hurlbut, Wood Turner Casey Peck, and Francois Visser shed light on how agriculture practices can turn the tide on climate change, sequester carbon with the potential to generate high-quality carbon credits and provide a solution to one of our planet's most pressing problems. ?How to address the financial risk farm operations face when adopting regenerative practices? Join experts from The Nature Conservancy's Science & Agriculture Innovation teams and Growers Edge TODAY as they share findings from warranty pilot projects in Iowa and the Chesapeake Bay. Our goal was to test the warranty solution as a tool to reduce the risk for farm operations when adopting cover crops and nutrient management practices. Register to join on 21 October and/or to receive the post-event recording: https://bit.ly/3Y1zWYz We'll share our lessons learned (what worked? what didn't work?) and the assumptions we were testing going in to the pilots.
