FT8 Gas Fuel System What we have here is startup data on the fuel system just as the turbine is lighting-off. The “Sequence” column is time in seconds since selecting “Turbine Start”. Timestamp “152” is lightoff, you can see the temperature of Thermocoupple TE004A rising. Timestamp “147” – 5 seconds before lightoff the SOV1101A is energized to open the shut off valve, and at the same time the closed switch ZS1101A changed state.?And at the same timestamp the Drain SOV1402A is energized closed. Two seconds later timestamp “149” the Vent SOV1401A is energized closed, therefore there was a two second period with the gas venting, which will remove any air in the line. This is the timestamp for ignition also. One second later at timestamp “150” the second shut off valve SOV1102A opens and two seconds later the turbine lit-off.
