Powersports - What's going on in TX? So far this year it appears that 41,387 new powersport vehicles have been registered by dealers in the great state. This time around I thought I'd share the top retailers/dealer groups in TX. Since I don't want to do anything to speed up the race to the bottom (dealers fighting to give away machines at the lowest possible price in order to win a non-existant award) I won't share the sales totals. Top 10 - Ridenow Powersports RumbleOn - Family Powersports - Houston Yamaha Motorsports - Team Mancuso Powersports - Broadway Yamaha Suzuki - United Ag & Turf - COWBOY HARLEY-DAVIDSON - Cycle Shack - Woods Cycle Country / Woods Indian Motorcycle - Wild West Inc It's a long list. While there is a little duplication I have to clean up, there are currently about 110 dealers in TX who have registered more than 100 new vehicle sales in 2024. I just do this as a side project, so I don't compare YOY data. There are also some issues related to how long it takes to register machines, although over a long enough time period and with enough participants, that somewhat dampens itself out. If you set up in one of those other 49 States, it's not too late to move to TX. #Powersports #TX

New car launches are always something special, especially supercars. New technology, new design, and new levels of performance. The new racing season also brings with it new liveries and new designs. But this week saw something really special – and a real milestone for the industry – when Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd / Aston Martin F1 Team / ASTON MARTIN RACING coordinated, not one, but three new cars from across its different operations. The links between road, race and track cars are often referred to in marketing brochures and press releases, and brands spend big budgets to highlight how technology transfer and Formula 1 technology has cascaded down to the roadcar division, or putting their F1 drivers in roadcar demonstrations. However, by simply** unveiling the new Vantage roadcar, the Vantage GT3 racecar and the new AMR24 Formula 1 car, the brand has subliminally linked all of this technology, know-how, expertise and brand association together. A genuine masterstroke of PR, cross brand promotion, and sports marketing. ** and, it has been far from a “simple” operation. One car unveil is a big event, so to bring together three cars, from three different business areas, in a new facility, is a huge effort by everyone involved. However, it was a massive success.
