Here's a glimpse of her impressive bio - contact me if you'd like to come as my guest!! Dr. Karrie G. Dixon was named the 13th chancellor of North Carolina Central University on June 6, 2024. She was elected by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors following her nomination by the University of North Carolina System President Peter Hans. She began her appointment on July 1, 2024. Dr. Dixon served as the 12th chief executive officer and 7th chancellor of Elizabeth City State University, where she was appointed on December 14, 2018. Before her appointment, Dr. Dixon served as the interim chancellor from April 9, 2018, after having played a crucial role as co-lead on the ECSU New Directions Phase 2 Operational Team since early 2017.

This prestigious designation recognizes student Phi Theta Kappa members within the Florida College System for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership and service to the community. Students are nominated by their respective colleges to the All-USA Academic Team. We're approaching 10 years of M3! Check out these impressive impacts: ? 700 Milwaukee Public Schools 12th-graders earned 8,000 Milwaukee Area Technical College and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee college credits through College Connections, saving almost $2.6 million in tuition. ? 900 MPS 11th-grade students in just one year took advantage of a streamlined admissions process for UWM and MATC through M-Cubed?Milwaukee Direct Admit. ? 3,100+ UWM, MATC, and MPS faculty and staff have met through M-Cubed?to better connect what students learn from middle school to high school and higher education. ? 5,000 MPS students have explored careers at M-Cubed?work-based learning student job fairs ? 10,000 MPS 9th- and 10th-grade students toured UWM and MATC campuses as part of M-Cubed?Academic and Career Planning efforts. ? MPS seniors’ participation in Smart Start sessions at MATC and UWM nearly doubled from the Class of 2022 to the Class of 2023 (338 to 650), with students earning more than $100,000 in scholarships. ? As of August 2024, 59% of MPS seniors in the Class of 2024 completed the FAFSA, surpassing both the national rate of 50% and Wisconsin’s rate of 44% — and unlocking greater access to college.
