Shelter-Structures is a leader in innovative aluminum structures for temporary buildings. The density of aluminum is about 2.7g/cm3, which is only about 1/3 of steel, but through alloying and heat treatment, it can reach or exceed the strength of some steels. The high specific strength (ratio of strength to density) makes aluminum structures particularly suitable for buildings and components that need to reduce their own weight, such as curtain wall systems for high-rise buildings and long-span roof structures. Specific strength of aluminum structure: The specific strength of aluminum alloy can reach 250-600 MPa/kg/m3. Corrosion resistance: After anodizing, the corrosion resistance of aluminum can be maintained for more than 20 years in harsh environments. Energy efficiency standards: The heat transfer coefficient (U value) of the aluminum curtain wall system can be designed to be as low as 0.3 W/(m2·K), which greatly improves the energy efficiency performance of the building.
