It's well known that a lot of wealthy elites support the Left. Some of them might do it out of sincere empathy. But the main reason is that they are smart enough to understand that without certain redistribution in favor of lowest classes the system is unsustainable. That's why they want to lead this redistribution into desired direction, they don't want Socialist Revolution like it happened in Russia or Cuba. They want to ensure that their children preserve their elite status and redistribution happens primarily at the cost of middle class, not them. That's why they support various forms of income tax. Working middle class is normally paying 10-20 percent of their entire net worth annually because their annual income is commensurate with their wealth. (Likely even more if you take into account student debt, mortgage and all the other debts). On the other hand, really wealthy people rarely pay more than 1% of their net worth annually, only if they have poor accountant.

5 Whys had been a powerful tool for #rootcauseanalysis and #problemsolving. But why asking questions 5 times? Jefferson Memorial in the US can explain that better! As the park ranger noticed the precious stones are decaying, they started to identify the reason by asking- 1??Why the stones are decaying fast? ?Because of the heavy wash every other week with water-jet. 2??Why the memorial needs frequent wash? ? Because of the birds litter. They ranger thought they identified the problem and fixed nets around the memorial. Barely they understood, this was only a symptom, not the root cause and it failed because birds found ways to bypass around it. So, the questions continued to identify the main root cause by asking- 3??Why there are so many birds? ?Because they feed on spider. 4??Why there are spiders? ?Because the feed on insects. 5??Why there are insects? ?Because they are attracted by the lights of the memorial. Bingo! As they identified the new root cause, they just reduced the light timing which reduced the insects by 90%! ??Lesson learnt is to ask questions exhaustively to identify the main root cause of the problem, not the symptoms or secondary cause. Once identified, simply removing the main root cause from the equation will solve the rest of it. https://lnkd.in/eUVdEEuU

I am tired—tired of Black and Brown people constantly begging for justice, only to be thrown crumbs. I'm tired of a handful of rich bastards at the top, pulling all the strings that dictates how we live, deciding who is worthy of justice and who is expendable. I am tired of the colonialistic mindset ingrained in our government—a government that uses laws designed to oppress, to silence, and to kill us. Let’s be clear - this system wasn't built for Black and Brown people. It was built to keep Black and Brown people down, to silence our voices, to crush our spirits. As a #designer I know all to well what a broken system looks like. And make NO mistake about it, this system ISN'T broken, it’s functioning exactly as it was designed: to devalue and destroy Black and Brown people lives without accountability. Marcellus was an innocent man whose life was brutally taken by Missouri's flawed and racist justice system. This isn't just an isolated case—it's a glaring symptom of a broken system that systematically targets and silences Black and Brown people. How can we “claim” to uphold justice when it’s selectively applied to protect the powerful and oppress the vulnerable? It's time to demand accountability, transparency, and genuine reform. We MUST stand together to END the racist injustices that have plagued our courts for far too long. No more innocent lives lost. No more silence. Justice must be for all, not just the privileged few.
