Sharing Experience (Personal Insight) ?? Lessons from the NICU: A Glimpse into Neonatal Care As a pediatric resident, every day in the NICU is a learning experience. Recently, I managed a case of a newborn with cephalhematoma, a condition that often worries parents due to its appearance. By explaining the difference between caput succedaneum (soft swelling that crosses suture lines) and cephalhematoma (blood collection that doesn’t cross suture lines), I helped ease their concerns and guided them through what to expect. These moments remind me why communication is as critical as clinical skills in pediatrics. To my fellow healthcare professionals: What are your tips for easing parental anxiety? Let’s learn from each other! #NeonatalCare #Pediatrics #MedicalEducation
