?P. BRIJLALL????????? After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse ? permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file. Response from the Deputy Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development The ministry is responsible for the legislative framework for workplace safety and insurance in Ontario. The WSIB is an independent organization that operates at arm’s length from the ministry and oversees the administration of workplace safety and insurance benefits and services. As a result, the Minister? and ministry staff cannot comment on or get involved in individual cases.

It’s been a few months since I delivered this talk at Agile on the Beach and a few weeks since it was released on YouTube, and having delivered another version of it yesterday at the Inspiring Women Network’s annual conference, I’m finally ready to talk about it. I am so proud of myself for getting up there and speaking (almost eloquently) about why neuroinclusion is the next logical step in breaking down brain-based siloes. But since watching the talk back, and repeating it yesterday, I realise I missed the most important message that I wanted to deliver. Any inclusion initiative, whether neuro or otherwise, will fail unless it’s co-created. Collaboration, experimentation, openness and curiosity are the only way we can gain sustainable traction in this space. Diversity is so unbelievably powerful. Psychological safety is so unbelievably important. But we can’t have either unless we build trust-based relationships. And this is where I believe neuroinclusion brings the secret sauce. Because we all have a brain. And we all have experiences that have shaped how it works. It’s a commonality that we can build from. I love talking about this. I love the conversations it encourages - even if you disagree with me vehemently; it’s just brilliant.
