? Honoring Black Baseball History in Fredericksburg! ? Dovetail /Mead & Hunt, is proud to join the Fredericksburg Nationals, the , and Germanna Community College in unveiling an exciting tribute to the region’s African American baseball legacy. On February 19th at 5:30 PM, we invite you to Virginia Credit Union Stadium for a special event where we’ll celebrate the history of Black baseball in Fredericksburg. The evening will feature a panel discussion led by Dr. Gaila Sims of the Fredericksburg Area Museum, a presentation of fascinating research on the legacy of African American teams in the region by Dovetail/Mead & Hunt's own Dr. Kerri Barile Tambs, and the official unveiling of the Fred Nats new tribute uniforms, which honor an all-African American team that played in downtown Fredericksburg from 1919 through the late 1930s.
