On 25 October 2024, #ITRI alongside Taiwan’s #OpenRAN ecosystem welcomed global partners from the #UK, #US, #Germany, #Indonesia and #Singapore to our annual #5G Summit in #Taipei for in-depth discussion across lab testing, policy and industrial collaboration. To accelerate the development and adoption and Open RAN, for instance, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)(工業技術研究院, 工研院) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (#MOU) in September 2024 with Digital Catapult (#SONIC Labs) on: ??joint development of test plans for indoor small cell use cases and potential contribution to industry bodies; ??cross collaborative activities in areas such as testing and commercial opportunities; ??sharing of information, knowledge and experience for mutual benefits and more. Moving forward, we look forward to continuing this momentum through substantial collaboration with global partners alike to diversify, strengthen and accelerate growth in the global Open RAN ecosystem.
