?? Improved operations in a challenging half-year ?? Today, we are publishing the half-year accounts for the Danish Crown group. The results show that many parts of our business are pointing in the right direction. Especially when it comes to our value-added sales of quality food products to retail and food service customers in Europe, which is continuing to improve. However, the last six months have been tough and required some heavy decisions on our part. Despite progress in our core business, our competitiveness is still not where it should be when it comes to paying the cooperative owners a competitive payment for their pigs. As we look forward to the next six months, we will continue to face the challenges head-on and streamline the business through development plans with a strategic aim of becoming the leading meat-based food company in Europe.
