According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, 126,700 health education specialists and community health workers (health coaches) were employed nationwide in 2021. Employment in this industry is projected to increase by 12% in the next 10 years, adding an estimated 15,200 new health coaching jobs by 2031. If you’re a health coach looking for their next (or first) opportunity, you don’t have to limit your search to healthcare companies. We curated this list of health coach employers by scouring job boards, social media, and company career pages for health coaching and related positions. My heart goes out to former colleagues, friends, and others in my network impacted by recent layoffs in the digital health and health coaching space. What I do know is that there is now an incredible group of talented, passionate, and dedicated individuals seeking their next opportunity.
