Another big weekend . . . A big day on the trail . . . 23+ miles. Plus, a new donation in my GoFundMe! The challenge to prepare, train, and thru-hike the Appalachian Trail is real. Most people think I’m overpreparing for this event. Am I? I hike 80+ miles every week carrying a heavy rucksack. At this point, it’s commonplace for me to get 20+ miles on any given Sunday. My time on trail is sacred – going beyond just physical exercise. Have you found your sacred space where you can focus, ground yourself, and recharge your life’s batteries? I’m still in need of your support to help get me up and over the Appalachian Trail in 2026. I‘m at $599 in donations – this disabled veteran still has a long way to go! This Sunday’s win!
