The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is “Accelerate Action” and our data reveals that younger women are taking action to build wealth and make the most of their money long term. We found that 81% of women aged 18-34 felt more confident investing and 45% tackled a ‘financial first’ in 2024, motivated by a desire to feel more financially secure. While cost of living remains a bigger problem for women, with the gender pay gap leaving them more exposed to financial setbacks, young women are feeling optimistic about what 2025 will mean for their money.
