?? Excited to share some big news! ?? Our SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. cohort, Team Unstoppable from Detroit, MI, has been recognized as the Top-Performing Cohort in the entire Nation for Module 5! ?? Out of 1,143 participants, only 371 (32.46%) completed Module 5—and we’re proud to say our team (19 of us) were the first and only cohort to achieve 100% completion. We pushed through together, and I couldn't be prouder of this incredible team. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of every member of Team Unstoppable. A huge thank you to the U.S. Small Business Administration and the SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. program for giving us the tools and support we needed to grow and succeed. I had the pleasure of leading a workshop on perfecting elevator pitches and presentation skills for the incredible business owners selected for the Entrepreneurial Boot Camp for Veterans at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship At Texas A&M University. EBV is a program that offers training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post 9/11 Veterans. Each of these participants brough unique perspective, valuable experiences, and incredible business ideas. Here are some key takeaways from our session: *Know Your Audience: Tailor your pitch to address their specific needs and interests. *Structure Your Pitch: Start with a hook, present the problem, offer your solution, and end with a strong call-to-action. *Practice with Purpose: Rehearse your pitch in different scenarios and get feedback from multiple people. *Stay Authentic: Be yourself and let your passion shine through!
