According to a new NFIB report, 76% of small business owners volunteer for civic and charitable causes, 90% offer financial support to local organizations, and 63% provide in-kind donations, such as meeting spaces or fundraising items. ??? “These findings confirm what we at NFIB already knew—small business owners are incredibly generous with their time and resources,” said Anthony Smith, NFIB’s Oregon state director. ?? The surveyed businesses, typically employing one to nine people, demonstrate the enormous impact small businesses have in strengthening local communities through active participation and contributions.
